MAKS IS BACK!

Welcome to the TFL.org approved fanlisting for professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy!  Maks is an incredibly talented dancer and may have come to your attention via ABC's Dancing With The Stars. For the September 2008 season, Maks is partnered with 2008 Olympic Beach Vollyball Gold Medalist Misty May-Treanor. Show your support for Misty and Maks by tuning into the show and casting your vote for them!

BIOGRAPHY

Maks has been dancing since he was 4 years old.  His love for dancing, dedication to being a full-time coach, and his commitment to his students has made his Rising Stars Dance Academy a home to national and international champions. 

Max is ranked 7th in the world of Professional Dancers.  He is also on the board of directors of Dance Team USA, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities to American Youth in mind, body, and spirit. Dance Team USA educates and trains America's youth on the world stage. 

Maksim can be seen on ABC's Dancing With The Stars.  He was partnered with actress Tia Carrere in Season 2, singer Willa Ford in Season 3, boxer Laila Ali in season 4, and Spice Girl Melanie "Mel B" Brown in season 5.  Maks took a break for season 6, and is back with Misty May-Treanor for season 7.
